New Toys

Daniel loves the new links that are in alphabet shapes. D had a little
help spelling out his name. Thanks, Grandma Dawn!

So close...

Daniel is getting so close to crawling. He does a lot of full body
push-ups now. He's great at scooching around in a circle and pushing
himself backwards. Once he starts crawling, the puppets had better
watch out!

Matt had a night flight with a student Thursday night to Jekyll
Island. Because of bad weather, they had to spend the night and fly

Tybee Island

Matt, Daniel, and I went to Tybee Island with friends last weekend. We had the best time! Daniel really enjoyed being a beach bum- just like his mommy! Matt had a great time flying kites and playing in the water with D. The beach was perfect--- our place was just a very short walk away, the weather was great, and it wasn't very crowded. Plus, we had lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We will definitely be going back to Tybee again.

Daniel has his choice of tons of toys. His preference- the very
expensive and hard to find straw! He loves to bite it and bang it in
the table. It's a very versatile piece of plastic!

We've had a wonderful time at Tybee. Today is our last day. We're
spending it at the beach. You can see Matt in the background flying
his kite.
